The homestead

160 acre lake view ranchette - sleeps 6

Deep within the heart of Paso Robles wine country, privately nestled into a secluded country hilltop between Lake Nacimiento & Lake San Antonio rests the Bee Rock Homestead. Our farm style home is a creative fusion blending craftsmanship & gallery antiques to create a warm inviting space designed for your comfort! Guests are left with a relaxing sense of having stepped into a simpler & familiar bygone era. Inventive & thoughtfully created, our boutique 3-bedroom, 2 bath vacation home boasts panoramic lake, valley & mountain views in all directions! Stroll or hike through giant Manzanita, Oaks & a small herd of horses in a park setting. Our guests will enjoy a complimentary bottle of local wine upon arrival and a complimentary tasting at DAOU winery.

Bee Rock Homestead is committed to eco-friendly practices. We’ve completed the initial phases of rainwater harvesting by capturing runoff in wine barrels which then travels through underground pipes ultimately to our Pomegranate orchard. The entire property is also solar powered.

Est. 1862

The Bee Rock Ranch, although inhabited earlier, was officially Homesteaded in 1862 by the Langenbecks, German cobblers. Learn more about the history behind The Bee Rock Homestead Here

We loved sitting on the deck, taking in the views of the rolling hills and the San Antonio lake. The cabin’s decor is a tasteful mixture of shabby chick, classic antique and hints of industrial. Well laid out kitchen made it for an easy meal preparation, and comfortable linens and bedding for a good night sleep.

In the afternoon the horses paid us a visit which only added to the great experience.

The owner of the property was friendly and extremely accomodating. Thank you Gigi, we hope to visit sometime again!

This property is absolutely amazing! Gorgeous views of the vineyards and lake. Sunsets were phenomenal on the deck. So nice seeing the horses too! Tons of wildlife like owls, bald eagles, hawks, etc. The location was off the beaten path but super close to restaurants, grocery store, and an awesome coffee shop. We loved being so close to Lake Naciamento. We spend 2 days on the lake with a rented boat, jet skis, and fishing poles. :) Such a blast! The local pizza place was fun at night with live music and great food. The house itself is so cleverly designed- industrial mixed with vintage. Gigi has done such a wonderful job with the house. The rain shower was so nice plus an amazing kitchen for cooking. The towels and blankets were the softest I’ve ever felt! The bed was super comfy too. Really can’t say enough great things about this place. We will definitely be returning! Excited to see their other properties as well! :)

We didn’t really know what we had signed up for when we booked the homestead but we were looking for some severe relaxation and we got it. The homestead is seriously STUNNING, with gorgeous views, thoughtful decor and the comfiest beds. Also, the owners were so kind and open and introduced themselves our first night but then gave us all the privacy we needed. Would definitely rebook/recommend
